Korea United Pharm expedites Reference GMP Certification with Oncology-Specialized New Factory
As Korea United Pharm is designated for “Enhancement Project for Globalization of Pharmaceutical Companies” by Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI), its new oncology factory is a step closer to perfection.
Korea United Pharm,(President, Duk Young Kang) is on the verge of obtaining reference GMP certification.
Designated for the project, Korea United Pharm is now eligible to receive subsidy for improving manufacturing facilities for export products from KHIDI.

Ensuing from this opportunity given by KHIDI, Korea United Pharm plans to utilize professional consultants with ample experience in order to improve quality control system. With thorough understanding of GMP regulation and practical know-how, Korea United Pharm is perfecting its overall scheme and qualification to meet reference GMP standards.

Currently, Korea United Pharm is building a new oncology factory aiming for reference GMP (cGMP,EU-GMP… etc.) in Yeonseo-myeon, Sejong-si, which will be completed in 2020, along with validity inspection of assessment criteria such as overall scheme and risk assessment report beginning in 2018.
PIC/S certified in 2015 by Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, current oncology factory is ‘export-oriented factory’ featuring 75% of products manufactured solely for export. Through its excellent export staffs and experience in overseas offices, markets and network, Korea United Pharm is committed to expedite export sales.
As Korea United Pharm has laid foundation in advancing to US, Europe, Canada and Japan alongside reference GMP certification, local authority is much likely to trust in Korea United Pharm to go into expansive overseas markets for the future.
Meanwhile, Korea United Pharm is actively exporting more than 30 oncology drugs as flagship products to over 40 countries. Not only Korea United Pharm is awarded with “Tower of $20 Million Export”, but it also supplies premium patent-expiring oncology drugs as an oncology-specialized international pharmaceutical company.
